This is a placeholder post, until I get my blog up and running. The photograph is of a drainage in the area of Carrizo Creek, where I joined a group of geologists, landscape artists, photographers, teachers, activists for a project earlier this year. The miniature painting is my own artistic interpretation of the photographed landscape.
